Dr. Samuel Quartey, Podiatric Surgeon, has been recognized by Cambridge Who’s Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in medicine.
With 30 years of experience as a podiatric surgeon, Dr. Quartey specializes in foot surgery and ankle reconstruction. He has worked as a resident at Lawndale, Oxford and Northeastern Hospital. He has Hospital Privileges at Lawndale Hospital, Oxford Hospital, Broadstreet Hospital and North Eastern Hospital, Temple East. He has worked for or has been on the board of several nonprofit organizations. Previously, he worked as a teacher.
Dr. Quartey received his Doctor of Podiatry from Temple University in 1979. He is Board Certified with the American Academy of Pain Management and is also Board Certified with American Council of Certified Podiatric Physicians and Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Inc. and the National Podiatric Medical Association. He serves as president of the Imhotep Charter High School and on the board of directors of the African American Museum in Philadelphia. He is also affiliated with the Gadangme Educational and Cultural Foundation (as Chairman).
